Mega Donation Drive at Chennai Trade Centre
Event

Mega Donation Drive at Chennai Trade Centre

Our annual mega drive collected over 50,000 garments in a single weekend, setting a new record for the club. Held at the spacious Chennai Trade Centre in Nandambakkam, the event brought together over 1,500 volunteers who worked in shifts to receive, sort, and package donations. The response from the citizens of Chennai was overwhelming. Families, schools, corporate groups, and local housing societies arrived with bundles of clean, wearable apparel. "We are incredibly grateful for the generosity of Chennaiites," said Rajesh Kumar, Chairman of the Rajasthan Cosmo Club Foundation. "Every garment received represents hope and dignity for someone in need." To support our operations year-round, you can schedule a pickup through our [Donate Clothes](/donate-clothes) page. Our specialized logistics team will collect contributions directly from your doorstep at no cost. Volunteer groups from local colleges helped manage traffic and catalog sorting categories. If you are interested in making an impact, consider signing up as a coordinator on our [Volunteer](/volunteer) page. With winter approaching, these 50,000 garments will be distributed through our network of rural community centers across Tamil Nadu, ensuring families are clothed with dignity.

New Sanitization Technology Integrated
Update

New Sanitization Technology Integrated

We've upgraded our processing facility in Egmore, Chennai, with eco-friendly steam sanitization to ensure maximum safety for recipients. This state-of-the-art machinery allows our sorting facility team to process up to 5,000 units daily, removing bacteria and freshening fabrics without using harsh chemicals that could damage textiles. This technology represents a major step forward in hygiene and safety. "Clothing donation should not feel like charity; it should feel like receiving a gift of dignity," explained Operations Head Anjali Sharma. "By steam-cleaning and neatly pressing each piece, we ensure that the recipients receive clothing they can wear immediately with absolute confidence and comfort." Interested in seeing how our processing works? You can learn more about our step-by-step sorting, sanitizing, and distribution workflow on our [How It Works](/how-it-works) page. If you are a corporate partner looking to support our green initiative, find collaboration options on our [Partner](/partner) page. The new steam generators run on a closed-loop water recycling system, minimizing water consumption and reducing our overall ecological footprint. RCCF continues to innovate to keep both community care and environmental responsibility at the core of our operations.

Rural Outreach Reaches Nilgiris District
Impact

Rural Outreach Reaches Nilgiris District

A specialized team delivered warm winter clothing to over 500 tribal families in the Nilgiris highlands this week. The expedition targeted remote settlements in the Nilgiris district, where temperatures drop significantly during the winter months and access to warm apparel is extremely limited. Our distribution vehicles navigated difficult mountain routes to reach these underserved tribal hamlets. Working closely with local community leaders, the RCCF team distributed blankets, sweaters, shawls, and children's winterwear. "For these families, winter is a harsh reality," noted Vikram Mehta, Community Liaison. "Providing high-quality winter clothing helps prevent seasonal illnesses and ensures children can attend school comfortably." This drive was made possible by the dedicated donors who scheduled pickups. If you have warm clothes or general garments that could help in our next drive, please head over to [Donate Clothes](/donate-clothes). We also want to thank our local partners in the Nilgiris who helped identify families in greatest need. If you represent an NGO or a community trust, we welcome new alliances on our [Partner](/partner) page to expand our network across Tamil Nadu.
